Hey, thanks for checking out my blog!
I’m Corinne, and I’ve been crazy about money since I was a kid.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been trying to make money, even pocket change, whenever and however I could. There was just something about buying a new toy or collectible with my own money (that I had earned myself!) that really brought me joy.
I always loved watching my money accumulate too. From piggy banks to plastic suitcases, I had money stashed away in all sorts of places! I would spend my time counting it, sorting it, and rolling the change. Even at a young age I knew money was important, so I decided that I was going to respect it.
I know that as an adult, young or seasoned, it isn’t as easy as stashing away pennies. We have bills now, mortgages, loans, so we need to treat money a little differently, and we need to make more of it.
As I grew into adulthood, my savings account diminished, I had children at a young age, and I noticed that money was getting harder and harder to keep. I struggled financially, unlike ever before. I even had a bankruptcy at age 20! That’s when I knew that things had to change. I needed to work harder, smarter, and faster.
Since that bankruptcy 9 years ago, I’ve done many side hustles to get by. I’ve walked dogs, rolled burritos, sold items on Etsy, resold clothing, babysat…I even joined the Army! (okay, maybe that one isn’t a side hustle, but it did change my finances!) I’m still not rich, not even close! I don’t have a huge savings account (yet!) but I’m working on it. I’m trying to teach my kids (and my husband!) how to respect money. When I’m not wearing my uniform, I’m doing a side hustle. I’m accumulating dollars, so that my family and I can have a beautiful future. I’m learning and growing. And that is what this blog is about.
I hope you stick around to follow me in my money-saving, money-making journey! I promise you will learn some tips that could change your life. And please, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, or would just like to chat.
